About Our Company
Royal Landscaping was started in 1989 with partners Mike Ford, Ronny Graham, and Randy McIver. Achieving a higher standard of landscape maintenance was the goal, and remains the goal to this day. After 30 years have passed, Cody Ford, Tara Prescott, and a great group of individuals carry on, striving to exceed the customer’s expectations and our own. Serving the greater metro Atlanta areas, we set out each day to raise the standard.
Royal Landscaping was started in 1989 to service commercial landscapes in the Atlanta, Georgia metropolitan area. With only one truck, we began with one thing in mind: great service at a fair price. And that’s what we have done for all these years.
On January 8, 2021, we lost the founder of Royal Landscaping, Mike Ford. After he laid the foundations for 30 years, we are now carrying on his legacy. Attention to detail, a sense of urgency when the customer calls, and treating everyone fairly are just a few characteristics we strive to continue.

Cody Ford
PRESIDENT / OWNERCody has a B.A in Business Management from the University of Georgia. Cody has worked with Royal Landscaping since he was 9 years old, giving him 20 years of experience! Along with supervisory duties, he schedules the work to be done and is the main contact for all customers.
Tara Prescott
OFFICE MANAGER / OWNERTara is well versed in QuickBooks and has over 20 years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, tax fillings, payroll, and more.
Mark Mitchell
LEAD FORMANMark has worked with Royal Landscaping for over 20 years and supervises our crews in the field. Mark also helps with scheduling all the crews.
Cliff Prescott
FOREMANCliff runs the tree removal department and is also the lead on fleet maintenance.
